Import parameter to set whether parts lists created by import are renamed or not
Only available for import parts
Applies to Pattern exchange (PTX or MDB format).
This is useful if the imported PTX files contain fixed name cutting lists. If these were not renamed each would overwrite the results of the last import.

Yes - short names
Yes - long names
Short names
The automatic renaming works as follows - the batch created by the import is allocated a unique number and cutting list names are created by using the first five digits of this batch number and the first 3 characters of the job list name. For example:
RXJOB.PTX contains jobs WRK and NST
Batch number generated: 10004
Cutting list names: 10004WRK and 10004NST
Ensure that, when using this rule, the first three characters of each job name are unique within the PTX file, for example, 'RXA10' and 'RXA15' as not valid job names unless these are placed in separate PTX files.
Long names
The cutting list names are created by using the 5 digits of the batch number and the whole job list name. e.g RXJOB.PTX contains jobs WRK-15 and NEWBERRY-
Bath number generated: 10004
Cutting list names: 10004WRK-15 & 00004NEWBERRY
Notes
- A cutting list name cannot exceed 50 characters
