Report Content
Costs are based on the actual material and cutting costs after the patterns have been produced, including sub-assemblies. The costs include the cost of edging material, core material, and laminates for each part, and the cost of fittings and any operations. The report is in order of products in the product requirements list. The costing columns are as follows.
The Qty/Time column shows either the quantity of the item required (that is the quantity for a single product) or the number of units of time required for the operation. Parts and Fittings show the quantity and Operations show the time.
The cost per item or per hour column shows the cost for a single unit of the item (Parts and Fittings) or the cost per hour (Operations).
The final cost column shows the total cost of all the items and operation in the product. The cost is for 1 product. This total cost is summed for each product and for all the products in the report.
The cost for more than 1 product (that is, the cost for the number of the product requested in the Product requirements list) is shown on the LIST version of this report which shows 1 line per product.
Other items on the report - The main heading shows the Reference for the Requirements list. The line starting with FILE shows the requirements list file details. File name, Reference, Optimising parameter list name, Saw parameters list name, percentage of overs.
