Pattern editor option to show details of a part in a pattern
At the pattern display and at the pattern editor a 'Part properties' box is available showing the information on the current part (the part at the cursor position). At pattern preview or pattern display screens:-
Right click on a part
● Select 'Part properties' from the pop up menu (Part editor only)
or
Click on Properties for details of the current
part
The box stays visible while navigating a pattern - details of each part can easily be checked. The dialog shows part details: part code, length, width, information boxes etc. The information box data can be edited if required.
In Review runs (pattern editor) the foot of the dialog also includes details of the part in relation to the patterns and cutting sequence, for example:-

Duplicate parts
Details of duplicate stacks are shown where these are used - these are shown on a separate line. A duplicate stack is where the part shown does not represent a single part code but the stack may include two or more part sizes that are the same size but other details, such as part code, or description are different for each part. For example:-
Duplicate parts
2 x 12. Part A
5 x 16. Part B
This indicates that the part stack consists of 2 of Part A and 5 of Part B
Editing field in the part properties dialog
At the pattern editor the dialog can be used to edit some fields (for example, Information boxes). Fields that affect the part size and material etc. cannot be changed via the dialog.
Notes
- Use the Properties option on the Toolbar or the menu option: File - Properties to view the Pattern properties
- This option is not used for parts in the Pattern library
- The box stays active while navigating around the pattern
