Saw transfer parameter to set the operation of Pattern exchange transfer
The parameter is shown on the right hand pane at the saw transfer parameter screen and is only required for some saw modes. Select the correct saw transfer mode(s) before attempting to set this parameter.
Saw Transfer modes 11 and 12 only
The program usually creates a single PTX (or MDB) file for the whole batch. The file name is based on the name of the batch if there is more than one run in the batch or is based on the part list name if there is only one run in the batch.
If this parameter is set the program produces a separate PTX file for each run. This is required, for example, when using the PTX options as part of a group transfer.

one file per run
Notes
- It is sometimes preferable to create a separate file for each run and to name it based on the run name, for example, 00005.ptx or 00005.mdb. Use the Saw transfer parameters to set this. In this case the job record of the file contains the run number rather than the usual part list name. In this way the job record matches the name of the file. Force the use of the part list name as the run 'number' (see: System parameters)
