Saws that can work faster with small books
Some saws can operate at a higher speed when only cutting a small book height. This affects not only the forward cutting speed but also the handling of the sheets and books.
To set this use the Saw parameter: Faster operation with small books
When this parameter is set an extra Speeds and times tab is available to enter times for faster operation.
The program automatically selects the correct set of times depending on the book height set for each pattern. The choice between the sets of times depends on the Saw parameters:-
Max book for faster operation - Measurement
Max book for faster operation - No. boards
Also some other saw parameters (on other tabs) have extra columns to enter a faster time.
The speeds and times parameters shown on this tab are those from the Speeds and times tab for which a faster time can be set. The operation of the parameter is the same except for the faster time.
