Max boards per bundle

Saw parameter to set the maximum number of boards loaded on the lift

A bundle is the unit in which boards are loaded on to the lift. When there are no more boards on the lift there may be a waiting time whilst a new bundle of boards is loaded.

Notes

- The program also considers the Saw parameter: Max bundle height

The number of boards in a full bundle is calculated by:-

Max bundle height / board thickness (for each material)

For thin material there may also be a limit on the number of boards that can be stacked together (regardless of the maximum bundle height) and this is given by: Max boards per bundle. The program uses the lower of these two figures as the working maximum for the number of boards in a bundle.

From this data the program calculates the number of bundles for each run and uses this to estimate the overall loading time.

Notes

- Can also be set as a Material parameter at material level.
