Group transfer examples
Groups with a mix of CADmatic 3, CADmatic 4 and CADmatic 5 controllers are supported with any combination of CADmatic saw model 21-25 (saw parameters).
Groups may contain CADmatic 3/4/5 or Schelling Commander 4 or CPOUT compatible saws but it is not possible to mix these within a group because each of these saw transfer modes requires a corresponding saw model in the saw parameters used by a run.
In summary, groups may contain machines with the following transfer modes.
CADmatic groups

ASCII MDB (one-per-run)
Schelling groups
Schelling Commander 4 - SCM

CPOUT groups

Notes
Naming conventions
- Schelling and CPOUT naming conventions impose limits on the run file names for the whole group. Schelling NC format allows a short alphanumeric run name (no spaces) but pads the name to 8 chars with leading zeros. The CPOUT naming convention (cpout.nnn) takes the number from the 'last group number' set in System parameters.
For example, transferring an alphanumeric run ‘Test’ to the groups listed above produces the following run files at the machines.
CADmatic group
CADmatic 3/4/5 Test.saw
Giben Test.ac
ASCII PTX (one-per-run) Test.ptx
ASCII MDB (one-per-run) Test.mdb
Schelling group (example assumes next available run number is 00005)
Schelling Commander 4 - SCM 0000test.nc
Giben test.ac
ASCII PTX (one-per-run) test.ptx
ASCII MDB (one-per-run) test.mdb
CPOUT group (example assumes next group number is 15)
ASCII CPOUT cpout.015
Giben 00015.ac
ASCII PTX (one-per-run) 00015.ptx
ASCII MDB (one-per-run) 00015.mdb
