Pre-defined information box (field) for nesting
Used to store a path and file name for each MPR(X) or DXF file.
At a part list:-
● Click on the Part list Description field
● Click on the select button in the cell
The program displays the part select dialog
● Click on the Change path button at the right
● Select a path and file for that part list drawing and the Selection dialog is updated.
Select parts as required. The path name is stored in the Drawing path - information box.
Set up
To work in this way the program must be set up as follows:-
Drawing path - information box must be set (Information box parameters)
Part list properties must be set: File - Properties - Drawing source - MPR(X) files or DXF files
Notes
- When parts are added or changed via the Change button the part sizes are automatically updated from the MPR(X) or DXF file.
- Changing the Drawing path - information box directly has no effect - use the 'Change button'
- Each part list line can have its own Drawing path and MPR(X) or DXF filename
- When the selection mode for parts is set to text mode (System parameters - Select using pictures - parts), a second column is displayed showing the date and time of the MPR(X) or DXF files.
