Import data from an external file to a table
At the User tables screen:-
● Select: File - Import
or
Right click - Import
The program displays any CSV files in the directory set by the System parameter: Path for import data
● Select the file required
(The file type can be altered manually if necessary)
The program prompts for the table name and format.
● Confirm the table name or enter a different name.
● Select the format for the values, this may be text, or integers, decimals etc.
Text
Boolean (yes / no)
Number dimension
Number integer
Number decimal
For 'Number decimal' also enter the number of decimal places.
● OK to finish

Cancel - abandon edit
Notes
- The program prompts to replace the table if a table of that name already exists.
- Only commas are supported as a separator
- Commas within fields are allowed if the whole field is delimited by quotes
- If the table format is set to anything but Normal the data is converted as it is imported
