Applies when taking recuts at the saw using a router at the rip saw. combiTech1

- Enter a value for the Router width

The router width is used to calculate a gap between parts involving a recut.

The gap is calculated as:-

Maximum of ('router width'/2 OR 'saw blade thickness') + 'allowance'

The 'allowance' is set by the Optimising parameter: Additional allowance for gap between recut parts

A router typically leaves rounded corners so a gap is necessary between all the parts involved in a recut to allow for this.

Example:-

Router width                                    = 10.0 mm

Saw blade thickness                             =  4.8 mm

Gap between parts (without allowance) = 10.0/2  =  5.0 mm
