Optimising parameter to set whether falling waste from a recut can be used as an offcut
Typically any falling waste of the correct size and area is an offcut but where the waste is from a recut the method of taking recuts needs to be considered. If the Optimising parameter: Recut processing is set to include one of the methods where the recut is taken at the rip cycle the nature of the cut may mean that some of the offcut areas are damaged.

Material parameters
When the parameter is set in an optimising parameter list the value applies to every material in the run. To apply the value differently for each material it can be set as a Material parameter (Main screen - Parameters - Material parameters - Waste). A material parameter setting overrides the setting in the optimising parameter list. For example the box can be checked for material: CHIP18MM and not checked for material MELAMINE-15MM as required.
For this parameter the value can also be set for each board at the Board library or in the Board list. The value then applies on a board size by board size basis. To achieve this set the value in a material parameter list and enter the name of that list in the 'Material parameters' field in the board library or the board list. This setting overrides the settings in the optimising parameter list and the material parameter list.
For example, if the usual setting is 'Checked' but material CHP15MM 1200 x 1200 requires it to be unchecked, set up a material parameter list with the box unchecked (e.g. NORECUTS) and put that material parameters list name in the 'Material parameter' field for the above board size.
Notes
- Can also be set as a material parameter at both board and material level
