Global step angle

Nesting parameter to enter a value for the global step angle

For nested optimising, parts can be placed at a range of angles to each other to ensure a good fit. This value determines the allowed angles.

For example, a value of '20'  (degrees) means parts can be placed at angles of  0 ,90,180,270,20,40,60,80,100 ... 360 degrees.

The angles of  0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees are always considered regardless of the value of this parameter, unless part is grained.

- Enter a value (in degrees) for the global step angle

Notes

- Can also be set as a Material parameter at material level.

- Use integer values only

- Only set if the global step angle is in use

- Only for Shaped Nesting and Shaped Nesting II

- For a WoodNest optimisation when the part angle is set to 0 or blank, the angles used in the optimisation are in steps of 1 degree.

- When the part angle is set to 360 for any Nesting optimisation, parts are not rotated on the patterns.
