Custom fields to extend the options for nesting
Part list data can be extended and customised beyond the fixed fields to include extra data. For example, tracking information, edging data, storage data, destacking information, nesting instructions, and additional part details for printing on labels. There are a set of information boxes (fields) that can be used to extend the capabilities of the Nesting optimising or modify the operation of some nesting parameters.
Information boxes are added to the part list via the main screen option:-

Once set up the information box appears as an item against each part in the part list (in the same way as the fixed fields such as Length and Width).
Nesting information boxes can only be used with the Nesting module.
Notes
- Most information boxes allow for free input including spaces and lower case characters. Comma is not allowed. Where fields are used for items within the program take care to enter the codes correctly as these must match the restrictions on the code or data set by the program. Where possible it is best to select the entry via the browse / select options.
