Notes

Origin compatibility

The machining origin (specified in the machining centre parameters) is used to generate the nested patterns and this origin must be compatible with the nesting machine origin otherwise the transfer does not take place. For example:-

- A nested pattern with Bottom left origin cannot be transferred to a nesting machine with an origin of Top left because the parts would need to be flipped in the Y direction and the part shape would not be the same.

Whatever the machining origin is, the nesting machine origin must be either the same or diagonally opposite this. For example:-

- If the machining origin is top right the nesting machine origin can be either top right or bottom left

MPR(X) format

When the nested pattern format is set to MPR(X) the nested pattern has already been generated for bottom left origin and only a nesting machine origin of bottom left is allowed.
