Option at drawing library or machining library to import drawings
Use this option to import drawing or machining library drawings (in library format)
● Move to the required drawing (or a new blank drawing)
● Select: File - Import drawing
The drawing is imported.
The drawing files have the following extensions.
Drawing library .SLE
Machining library .MLE
The files are stored in: Path for import data
For example: BASE-CABINET-DOOR.SLE, BASE-CABINET-DOOR.MLE
If a drawing already exists the program prompts to confirm the overwrite.
Notes
- This can be used with Export to transfer drawings between different users who are not sharing the same library.
- External drawing files are imported via the DXF format: Merge - DXF
- Only drawings for the same version of the software can be imported or exported
- Variables / formulae and lookups - these are checked against the current tables and a warning is shown if there is a conflict. New items are automatically added to the tables.
