Option at drawing library to export drawings
Use this option to export drawing library drawings (in drawing library format)
This can be used with Import to transfer drawings between different users who are not sharing the same library.
- Move to the required drawing
● Select: File - Export drawing
The drawing is exported.
The drawing files have the extension .SLE and are stored in: Path for export data
For example: BASE-CABINET-DOOR.SLE
If a drawing already exists the program prompts to confirm the overwrite.
Notes
- Only drawings for the same version of the software can be imported or exported
- Exported file does not include nested variables or formula
- Links within a drawing are not exported - a warning is shown on import and the link must be re-created manually
- Use: Export image to export the drawing as a graphic
