Stop positions

Machining centre transfer parameter to control how the 'production list file' is created

The 'Production list file' (Plist file) is a file created on transfer which is used by the Homag WoodWop system. It is used when transfer is via method: '8 - Homag Woodwop V4->V8 (MPR/X)'

Set the values to define alternating stop positions (in the Work list group). The lines in the Plist file then alternate between the two stop positions. The stop positions are the various fixed points for locating a part on the machining centre.

For example, the stop positions (at location 3 in the file) alternate between positions 1 and 4.

1, 1600003H,1,0,0,0,CASE_SIDE,0,,,,,,,,,,,

2, 1600003H,4,0,0,0,CASE_SIDE,0,,,,,,,,,,,

3, 1600003H,1,0,0,0,CASE_SIDE,0,,,,,,,,,,,

4, 1600003H,4,0,0,0,CASE_SIDE,0,,,,,,,,,,,

5, 1600003H,1,0,0,0,CASE_SIDE,0,,,,,,,,,,,

If the PLIST.DEF file contains MODE=1 as the first line, then the 3rd field on the main lines will always be a '1' and the 4th field will contain the value for the stop position.

If the PLIST.DEF file contains MODE=0 as the first line, then the 3rd field on the main lines will contain the value for the stop position and the 4th field will always be a '0'.

This allows for more efficient loading of the parts in a machining sequence.

The Stop positions values are also used in nested pattern LIS files. These are created when transferring nested patterns to a machine centre.
