Parts - Use common transfer name for parts

Machining centre transfer parameter to set how file names work

Use this  parameter to allow for a common file name when the files are sent to different directories. Check the box to work in this way.

For transfer for front, back and horizontal instructions the file names have the same root with F, H or B added.

0001440F

0001440B

0001440H

Where these files are transferred to separate directories the result is as follows.

c:\v12\front\0001440F

c:\v12\back\0001440B

c:\v12\horiz\0001440H

If this parameter is checked the effect is to remove the 'F', 'B' and 'H' tags from the file names in separate directories.

c:\v12\front\0001440

c:\v12\back\0001440

c:\v12\horiz\0001440

DXF format

When the machining transfer type is set to: 9 - 2D DXF nested layered (DXF) the following parameters are also available::-

Use common transfer name for parts

Path for parts - Back

Path for parts - Horizontal

This allows for nested patterns to be generated in nested layered DXF format for the front instructions and also have separate files for horizontal and back machining for the part drawings.

Notes

- This parameter only applies if all the paths are different

- If this parameter is checked associated information box: Transfer name - common must also be set as this box is used to store the transfer name..
