Applies only to CADmatic 3 and CADmatic 4

Typically tension trims (if required) are applied to the rip direction. However, it is sometimes necessary for tension trims to be taken in the crosscut direction.

To set where the tension trims are taken check the boxes required.

Notes

- Can also be set as a material parameter at both board and material level

- These options are not used for the tension trim type: Last but one rip

- For crosscut tension trims, the program assumes. The length of the tension trim is the strip width. The 'distance from the edge / centre' is measured from the left / right of the pattern (or mid point of the pattern in the horizontal direction).

- The program does not assess the requirement for tension trims within recut blocks

- Strips containing crosscut tension trims are crosscut separately at the saw

- The pattern editor in Review runs displays patterns without tension trims. If no edits are made, the original tension trims are retained. Patterns on the pattern editor's preview bar show tension trims for patterns which have not been edited.
