Minimum gap between recut parts of different widths / min front recut trim

Optimising parameter for minimum measurement for the space between recut parts (Recuts tab) and the minimum front trim for each recut.

Min_gap_between_parts_graphic.gif

Applies to combiTec only

Where recuts have a different width there has to be a gap between the recuts to allow for the movement of the saw blade. This value sets the minimum the gap can be, for example, 75mm.

The gap is a calculation based on the maximum book height and if this results in a value less than the minimum value the value is set to the minimum value.

Front recut trim

combiTec recuts also require a minimum front trim set by this value. There are no rear recut trims for combiTec recuts

Example

Gap between recut parts of different width = 0.6

Minimum gap between recut parts of different width = 75

Maximum book height = 100mm

Therefore the gap between recut parts is set as the maximum of 60mm and 75 mm
