Slow-down speed

Saw parameter to set a value for the speed for slower operation

slowdownspeed.gif

Where a trim falls below a certain size the saw controller may take the cut at a slower speed than normal. This is the 'slow-down' speed.

Enter a value for the slower speed

Any trim at or below the 'Trim threshold' value is assumed to be cut at the slow-down speed. Tight fit patterns with variable trims are likely to have trims which fall below the threshold. The default trim threshold is 0.0.

Notes

- This parameters has no effect if the 'Trim threshold' parameter is set to zero.

- Slow down values apply to all cutting phases

- Patterns with trims which fall below the threshold value have higher cutting times and the effect may be observed in longer operations on the saw cutting time simulation report.
