3D Product connection
A connection can be added between an end groove on one part and an end groove on another part, providing the two end grooves are of the same dimensions.
The connection can be added by right clicking on one of the end grooves, matching end grooves are then shown on the other part in red.
After a matching end groove is chosen by left mouse clicking on it the two parts will be shown together in the left hand side product view.
As with connecting two parts together using drill instructions the ‘Add connection’ dialog will be shown. However since a two end grooves will only fit together in two possible ways the rotation buttons will switch the parts between their two possible relative orientations.
