Send instructions to a machining centre
At the main screen:-
● Select: Machine interface
or
Select
the Toolbar option
● Select the Machining Centre for transfer
Links to one or more Machining centres can be set up via the Machining centre Transfer parameters. Once this is done the links appear on the Machine Interface menu at the Main screen, for example:-
The Batch screen is displayed showing the current run. Use the batch screen options to adjust the current run or select alternative runs.
● Select: File - Continue
or
Select
the Toolbar option
The files are either transferred to the data directory (the default action) or to the directory specified by the Machining centre transfer parameter: Path - Machining
Typically the program shows a summary of the runs to transfer (this can vary with the type of transfer).
● Select OK to confirm the transfer
At the end of the transfer the program returns to the main menu.
Notes
- Set the machining centre transfer parameter: Warning to set the warning level on transfer. Where this is set the program issues a warning if a run is already transferred. A tick in the 'Trn' column indicates a run has been transferred.
