Set the line type of a line in the order details
This is an option at the Quote / Orders screen on the Edit box above the Order details grid. This sets the row to be a specific type of data for example, a detail, or a sub-total.

The options are:-
nn - main item (nn stands for a number)
- detail item (blank)
= - sub total line
The default type is 'Main item'. The main item has a line number at the left of the line. A detail line is left blank at the left of the line (no number). A sub total line has the symbol = at the left of the line.
Select the line type button ONCE to select a line as a detail line. A detail line has no line number and is associated with the numbered (non detail line) above. Use this to specify extra details or comments about a main item. For example, the fitting or hardware for a product might be usefully set a details.

In the above example the fittings for product PRD1/23 are set as detail lines.
When detail lines are printed they are kept together with the associated main item and can also be hidden with the HIDE DETAILS option.
To de-select the line type select the line and then select the line type button TWICE. The first selection sets the line as a sub-total and the second selection sets the line as a main item.
