Change board details for patterns
Board information is displayed in a pane at the top left of the pattern editor. This shows the details (length, width, material, quantity ...) of the current board.
Click
on properties symbol in the Board pane
The details of the current board are shown.
- Set the values required.
For an existing Board only 'Quantity' and 'Rotated' can be changed
Items that cannot be changed are greyed out. This depends on whether the board is already in use in a run or not. For example for a current pattern the material and size cannot be changed as this would alter the rest of the items in the run.

Add
new board; this opens the other boxes to enter the board details.
Click
the Check box to swap the rotation
The parts are not rotated with the board. If the parts in the current orientation do not fit the rotated board no rotation occurs.
- Enter any run quantity change in the 'Qty' box
OK - confirm changes
Pattern templates
At the pattern library the stored pattern may either be a full pattern or a pattern template. Pattern templates only show the layout of the parts and are not linked to a specific material - in this case the pop-up dialog has a more limited amount of information. To create a new board/pattern in the pattern library enter the board sizes in the box - other values such as the material code are not used.
