Add contents of one pattern to another
This option allows the import of a pattern into an empty area in an existing pattern or into a new pattern. This is effectively a copy of a pattern and is useful when most of the layout of one pattern is useful for other patterns. There is also an option to import fixed patterns from the Pattern library.
- Move to an empty area or empty pattern (or create a new pattern)
● Select: File - Merge
or
Select the Toolbar
option
Program prompts with Merge pattern dialog:-
- Enter the number of the pattern (in the current run) to merge in
or
Use
the list box to select patterns from the pattern library
The pattern is copied in.
The 'Merge' option is also available at the 'Boards dialog' when creating a new pattern (File - New pattern).
