Option to set standard phrases for Quotes / Orders
When creating an order it can useful to control the process by offering standard phrases for the operator to use. To do this the list of phrases is set up in the Phrase table. At the main screen:-
● Select: Libraries - Phrase table
The phrase table allows fixed phrases to be set up for free format items on the order and to specify the text shown for Notes, Items (items in the order), and Terms - on the Order entry screen.
- Click on the tab for the type of phrase to set up.
For example, to enter fixed text for Notes 1 click on the Notes 1 tab.
- Enter a code for the phrase and the phrase itself.
- Select Ok to finish
Notes
- The space character is not allowed in the 'Code' column of phrase table. These are automatically converted to underscore when converting data from previous versions.
