Unique code to identify each material
This is used throughout to identify materials for parts or other items.
Some example codes are:-
CHIPBOARD-18MM
HARDBOARD-4MM
PARTICLEBOARD-3/4
The materials are set up in the Board library and each material has a unique code. The code is used to find the relevant materials, sizes and quantities that are available when creating cutting lists, optimising, and working with products.

Notes
- At the part list the material code can also be entered on the top line (global line) and this assigns the selection to every items in the list (this can speed up data entry and help to avoid keying errors).
