Fields on the Product library screen for further data about an item
At the product library screen these are fields (several for each product) in the central top half of the screen.
Use these for extra or custom product data, such as, storage instructions, batch numbers, and assembly data.
- Enter the data in the box (the text is free format so any data can be entered)
Accessories
If the first character of the item in the first memo field is set to +, for example; +FRIDGE the product is defined as an accessory.
Use this for keeping a record of major items such as refrigerators, or cookers, which do not contain parts.
An accessory works in the same way as any other product and can contain fittings and parts if necessary. The accessories are added to the Fittings list when the product requirements are calculated.
