Add one drawing to another (Drawing library or CAD drawing)
At the Drawing screen:-
Move to a drawing or start a new drawing (New)
● Select: File - Merge
or
Select
the Toolbar option
● Select a drawing to merge in
Merge DXF files
Drawings in DXF format can be imported to the library. To do this:-
● Select: File - Merge DXF
The program displays a dialog to select the directory (folder) containing the DXF files. The default is the directory set by the System parameter: Path for Import data
● Select the directory required
The program shows a list of DXF files.
● Select the drawing required
(Use Shift or Ctrl with the mouse to select more than one drawing)
Notes
- Drawings are automatically expanded to fit the drawing area on the screen.
- For DXF format drawings the drawing library does not use the DXF format set by the Machining centre parameter: Import - DXF format. DXF drawings are imported without layers.
- Each line is imported as an individual object.
