Line showing the distance between two points
At any drawing:-
● Select: Tools - Arc
or
Select
option from Toolbar
Use
mouse to draw object
● Move to start point
● Move mouse horizontally or vertically to locate the second point (A vertical or horizontal dimension line is drawn)
● Click to fix second point
● Move mouse at right angles to the dimension line
● Locating lines for the dimension line are drawn
● Click to confirm the final position of the lines
The program displays a dialog box
● Enter a dimension (e.g. 290.56 mm)
● Select OK to finish
Use @, fx, $ buttons to add variables, formula or look-up items to the Dimension text.
Dimension type - Use this to set the dimension line to be vertical or horizontal. Right click after selecting the first point. The program displays the Dimension type dialog - set the type required and choose OK. The dimension follows the type selected, for example, a horizontal line.
Edit
options and Properties -
right click with the mouse to show
the menu of edit options and properties. These vary for each type of drawing
object. The property values can be used to set start point, end point,
length, thickness ... of each object accurately.
