Drawing library - draw rectangles and squares
At any drawing:-
● Select: Tools - Rectangle
or
Select option from Toolbar
Use
mouse to draw object
● Move to the start point
● Click Left button
● Move mouse in direction of shape (program draws rectangle)
● Click Left button to finish
For an exact square use the grid as a guide or enter the exact coordinates by setting the properties of the object.
Edit options and Properties -
right click with the mouse
to show the menu of edit options and properties. These vary for each type
of drawing object. The property values can be used to set start point,
end point, length, thickness ... of each object accurately.
Notes
If the Grid is switched on the starting and end points of the lines always move (snap) to the nearest grid point. This makes it easy to ensure that lines meet and that horizontal and vertical lines are straight.
