Features of each drawing to set the overall drawing size
The drawing extents set the overall size of the drawing page. The drawing extents are the extents of the drawing. They are set by the Drawing properties but they can also be set on screen by using the buttons at each end of the Ruler bars (the rules bars must be on).
Left buttons on horizontal ruler - left extent
Right buttons on horizontal ruler - right extent
Top button on vertical ruler - top extent
Bottom buttons on vertical ruler - bottom extent
The buttons increase or decrease the drawing extent by a single unit of scale (as shown on the ruler) for one click.
For example, if working in Millimetres the following drawing extents represent a rectangle 600mm x 400mm
LEFT 0
RIGHT 600
BOTTOM 0
TOP 400
Notes
- If Zoom is applied to the drawing the drawing extent buttons are not available
