Field at 'Quote and Orders' or 'Product requirements' screens to identify a product or other items in an order
At the product requirements screen this is the code for each product in the order. At the 'Quote and orders' screen this code may identify a product in the order or other items in the order such as fittings or parts.

Each product or other item has a unique code.
- At the Quote and orders screen the 'Mode' button shows which codes are in use. Products, Parts, Fittings, Operations, Phrases.
Some examples of codes are:-

Notes
- At the Quote and orders screen the program automatically prompts for values for any variables in the product once the product code is entered.
- Choosing catalog prices (Price list method only) the catalog pop ups after the product code is entered. The price variants that are the same as the entered code are displayed. For example, if you enter the code BF the variants BF-SM, BF-MED, and BF-LRG are shown. - select the code you want. The catalog description is added to the normal product description and the price added in the price column.
- Mode selection - when the mode button is pressed the selection dialog pops up showing the appropriate items, products, parts, fittings etc..
