When using Quotes/Orders the total price is given by:-
Total price = Quantity x Unit price
If the quantity changes then the total price is automatically recalculated.
The quantity field can also be used for a delivered quantity. To do this enter the quantity as:
Delivered qty/order qty
For example, 3/10 means: delivered qty =3 and order qty =10
The total price is automatically updated if the quantity is changed - it is based on the delivered quantity.
Notes
- If an order with a delivered quantity is merged into another order only the delivered quantity is passed to the new order.
