Settings to use for Importing items from a file in 'Pattern Exchange' (PTX) format

Pattern Exchange is an EXPORT / IMPORT standard for the software. This allows for the export or import of data from and to the software in the following formats.
ASCII/Unicode (PTX)
Access (MDB) database
Importing parts and boards
Set the Import parameter: Part import format to one of:-
Parts & boards - ASCII/Unicode CSV (PTX)
Parts & boards - Access (MDB)
Importing patterns
Set the Import parameter: Pattern import format to one of:-
Pattern exchange - ASCII/Unicode CSV (PTX)
Pattern exchange - Access (MDB)
For import set the Import parameter: Pattern import format
Notes
- if errors occur - the import stops and the remaining runs are not imported. Correct the error and then re-import the complete batch or copy the runs that were not imported to a new batch and import the new batch
- if the pattern exchange file does not contain any board information then no BRD files are produced. The minimum requirement of lines in a PTX file is PARTS_REQ and MATERIALS.
- importing parts list(s) from a PTX file uses the first available optimising and saw parameters for the part list rather than the PTX filename.
- Import parameters are accessed from the Import dialog (e.g. File - Import parts : File - Parameters)
