Nesting parameter to specify whether grained parts can be rotated
By default this option is ‘unchecked’ – grained parts are not rotated. If this option is ‘checked’ parts can appear in nested patterns in either valid orientation.
e.g.
0 or 180 degrees for Y grained parts in an unrotated board
90 or 270 degrees for X grained parts in an unrotated board
For nested optimising, parts can be placed at a range of angles to each other to ensure a good fit. This value determines the allowed angles.
Notes
- Can also be set as a Material parameter at material level.
- Only available if the global step angle is NOT in use
- Only for Standard Shaped Nesting and Industrial Nesting
- This setting is ignored if individual part step angles are set using the ‘Step angle’ information box
