Post brief text to the saw
Use this option to send a message to the saw.
This is an option on the Machine Interface menu for some transfer modes.
- Enter a message of up to 4 lines.
The message can be anything; last minute instructions to the sawyer; a reminder about special features of a job; a warning that the saw must close down soon, and so on
1. Process run 00052 next - needed urgently
2. Delay lunch break until 15:00:00
3. Schedule saw blade change during lunch break
4. Overtime is available for tonight
The other options are:-
SEND - send message
CANCEL - abandon message
PRINT - print message
RECALL - recall message
HELP - help
Not available for some transfer modes
