Control of label printing

With labels printing at the Online Label PC WMF and BMP files can be used for each part.

If there is a machining picture or a drawing picture then this will be printed, otherwise the program will first attempt to print a BMP based on the part code and finally try and display a WMF file.  (e.g a part code of 'TEST5' would have a TEST5.BMP file or a TEST5.WMF file)

If the part code is in the part library and has a drawing name associated with it, then the drawing name will be used instead e.g. PARTDRAW.BMP.

Where the Online PC is being used at a machining centre it is useful to be able to print all labels for the sheet being divided. To achieve this, a 'select all' button has been added to the toolbar. This button is only available when the pattern is being displayed. When selected, the pattern is shown inverted and selecting the 'Print' button causes all labels for the pattern to be printed. The order in which labels appears is top-left to bottom-right

The default is for each part to have one label (unless the frequency is 'per cycle' in which case the top part has one label). If some parts are not to be labelled (or have more than one label) then you must set the 'AI box for label indicator' property to a non zero value. When printing labels for parts, the contents of the nominated box are examined and labels printed according to the following rules:-

blank - no label

alpha characters (i.e. non digits) - 1 label

just digits and is in the range 1-99 - no of copies
