Part list parameter to set where part information and drawings are selected from for new lists
When a part code is entered or selected at the part list / cutting list, if the part already exists, the data for the part (length, width, material, information boxes etc.) is automatically added to the entry in the part list / cutting list. By default the program checks the Part library for the details of each part but the part may be stored in other locations. Use this property to set the location of the part drawing. The possible locations for the part are:-
Part library
DXF files
MPR(X) files
Machining library
Drawing library

- This setting acts as the default for the drawing source for all new part lists. This value can be changed for each individual part list by loading the part list and selecting. File - Properties.
- If this property is blank the 'Part library' is used
MPR(X) drawing source - global description
When the part list drawing source is set to MPR(X) the global description cannot be set and is disabled. The global length and width are also disabled when the drawing source is set to MPR(X). If the global part description already contains a value when the drawing source is changed to MPR(X), the global description is applied to all the parts and the global description is blank.
