Monthly summary of the material used in a given month
At the main screen:-
● Select: Print - Monthly material summary
The program prompts with a dialog showing list of available reports.
● Select a report
The program displays the report on screen in the 'Report viewer'.
The report shows one line for each material. The information is created only when stock is issued ('Issue stock products' or 'Issue stock runs'). The default information shown for each material is:-
Material code
Number of parts
Area of parts
Volume of parts
Number of boards
Area of boards
Volume of boards
Number of cycles
Cutting time
Cost
Average waste
Report - options
There are menu options to set up the printer, page, report range, report content and layout. The report can be separately customised for both on-screen and printed versions. See the topic: Stock report layout and settings - Overview

Use the Navigation buttons to move between reports (or the Reports menu
option).
Notes
- Check System parameters to make sure data is created for the report.
- Material summary file is not changed with the 'Adjust stock' options or any manual adjustments to the Board library
- The summary is sorted by material code and shows the parts and boards used cycle times cost and average waste
- Summary name is based on the month and year, for example, m042006
- There are no header lines in the file
Monthly material summary details
The reference of the material summary is based on the month in which it is created and has the extension .MON. For example, updating stock in March 2015 creates the file: 032015.MON. A new file is created each month. The file is stored in the 'Path for data' (see System parameters). This is a comma delimited ASCII file. The data fields are:-
