Stock valuation

 

Report showing the stock valuation for a range of items

 

At the main screen:-

 

 Select: Print - Stock valuation

 

The program displays the report on screen in the 'Report viewer'.

 

 

The stock valuation report is based on the quantity of physical stock. It does not include items on order. The default data on the report is:-

 

For each material:-

 

Material code, description, thickness and other material details

 

For each board:-

 

Board code

Length and Width

Quantity in stock

Area

Volume

Cost per unit area

Total cost

 

Report - options

 

There are menu options to set up the printer, page, report range, report content and layout. The report can be separately customised for both on-screen and printed versions. See the topic: Stock report layout and settings - Overview

expand on-screen view (4 levels of zoom)

print report (uses the settings from 'Print layout')

exit without printing

 

File - Export  - export data

File - Modify range  - change items included in the report

 

Use the Navigation buttons to move between reports (or the Reports menu option).

 

The program prompts for the report settings.

 

Options for Stock valuation

 

The report defaults to displaying both stock boards and offcuts for all materials in the board library and includes all items regardless of the stock quantity. To changes these defaults use the 'Modify range' option.

 

  Select: File - Modify range

 

 

Check the Stock boards and/or Offcuts boxes to select which to show. Check 'Zero stock quantities' to show stock with 0 quantities in the library

 

 

Notes

 

- Offcuts are identified by the 'Type' field (Blank for stock boards, 'X' for offcuts. There are also several choices of format for the Offcut label (Main screen - System parameters - Rules 2 tab).
