Notes
Transaction number - This is a unique sequential transaction number for each transaction. It is created by the program as each transaction occurs. The Audit report is in sequence number order. This is not always the same as 'date order' because the date is taken from the computer date and the date order can be distubned if the computer date is changed.
Date - This is the computer date of the transaction. The date is shown in the format Days, Months, Years.
Type - Transaction - This is a 2 digit code number which shows the transaction type and some descriptive text for the transaction. The types are:-
01 - Issue
02 - Receipt
03 - Opening balance
04 - Deleted
05 - Adjustment
06 - Edit
07 - Correction
08 - File
01 - Issue - The program records an Issue when it issues stock with the option Stock issue (from runs). The Reference column shows the run number.
02 - Receipt - The program records a Receipt from the Record receipts option. The reference column shows the order number.
03 - Opening balance - The program records an opening balance when you add new boards to the library or after you have run the End of period report. The Reference column shows 20 characters of the Material description.
04 - Deleted - The program records Deleted when you delete boards from the board library. The reference column shows 20 characters of the Material description.
05 - Adjustment - The program records an Adjustment when you use the Stock adjustment options. The reference column shows the Reference field from the Stock adjustments screen. If you make a manual adjustment you will find it much easier to trace any problems if you include a brief description of the reason for the adjustment.
06 - Edit - The program records Edit if you manually alter stock quantities in the Board Library. The reference column is blank.
07 - Correction - The program may record a Correction after you run the End of period report if the audit trail was faulty and was corrected. The reference column is blank.
08 - Update from file - The program records File if you update stock from an external file with the option: Stock adjustment from file. The reference column shows the filename.
Quantity - The Qty column shows the quantity of boards in the transaction. Plus (+) indicates an addition to the board library and minus (-) a subtraction.
Reference field content - the Reference field shows information that varies with the type of stock update.
Board library - the audit trail (stock transactions) can also be viewed for each Board at the board library screen.
