Reserve boards for later use
Stock control only
The purpose of a reservation is to reserve those boards for a later optimisation. The reserved quantities stored in the Board library and any other runs involving the same boards cannot use the reserved boards. Typically once an optimised run is checked and sent to the saw or machining centre the boards in the run can be reserved. Use this option to review and maintain stock reservations. At the main screen:-
● Select: Stock - Reservations
or
Select the Toolbar option (on the Stock
Toolbar)
The list of reservations shows the Order code, Job Reference, and Delivery date.
To view the details of a reservation select a reservation number and the screen displays all the boards reserved for that reservation record. When viewing an reservation the details cannot be changed. The cursor remains on the Code column.
The fields at the top of the reservation are: Reservation, Job reference, and Cut date. The body of the screen shows the boards in that reservation including (for information only) the details (length, width, thickness etc.) of each board.
