System parameter to set how stock is updated from an external file or database
Use this to define which board library fields are updated when updating/overwriting stock from an external file or database.
Typically these are fields such as quantity or cost but any of the available fields can be chosen.
Check
a box to include that field
The fields available are shown in the list. Not all fields are used and there may be different fields used for different import formats.
When the Board library import format is set to Homag Automation two additional fields, 'Minimum Stock' and 'Bin Fields' are available to update.

details of the Stock control options for import see the following

Notes
- This option may invalidate runs which have already been optimised with existing stock boards.
- This option does NOT apply with the 'Board list (BRD)' format import.
Grain and parameters
- Take care when selecting these fields. These fields modify the board grain and parameter file name of existing board records. These values are also set at the material level. Any changes made by importing the values, in the above way, set the values for individual boards and these override the material settings.
When importing new stock from files the grain and material parameter file name are not imported except when the board is for a new material, in which case these fields appear against the new material record.
Material code
If this field is selected it may change the material code for a board. If the new material does not exist, a new record is created using the information in the BDX file.
